Emma. My first exposure to Elly Griffiths’ Magic Men series is the fifth installment, a novel titled,
Now You See Them. Set in 1964, former Brighton detective Emma is married to Superintendent Edgar Stephens and she feels unsettled at home with three kids. Girls have been disappearing, and Emma sees a chance to get back into the action. Conflict between mods and rockers provides a colorful backdrop. I was entertained from beginning to end and expect that other fans of crime fiction will enjoy this novel and this series.
