All those questions and more are explored with great skill by Louise Erdrich in her novel titled, LaRose. Erdrich presents a large cast of characters and develops them in diverse complexity so that readers can savor their depth. She presents a story that grabbed me from the first pages and kept me absorbed in key questions to the very end.
