We Are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast
Act. Do something. Climate change isn’t someone else’s problem. We make our earthly home together and each of us can take action that will help respond to the climate crisis. That’s much of what Jonathan Safran Foer proposes in his book titled, We Are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast. He writes this as a personal reflection and a call to action. He describes his own hypocrisy when he acts in ways that he knows are different from what he wants to do. An individual action as simple as not eating meat for a meal or two each day can combine with a similar action by others and reduce the number of animals raised for human consumption and the environmental consequences caused by those animals.
