Beautiful World, Where Are You

Transcendental. The richness and depth of Sally Rooney’s novel titled, Beautiful World, Where Are You, blew me away. She had me with the interesting relationships among characters Eileen and Simon, and Alex and Felix. Her dialogue and description make readers feel present and engaged with their attraction and the ways they interacted. At some point I found myself exploring Metaphysics as Rooney teaches about goodness, beauty, truth and unity, those transcendental properties of being.
