The Argonauts

Voice. The voice of Maggie Nelson is not one that I feel that I’ve heard before from other writers. In her book titled, The Argonauts, she takes a critical look at marriage, gender and child-rearing, while reflecting on these and others issues as they have played out in her own life. This blend of memoir and criticism, combined with her writing skill and thoughtfulness, offer readers a unique voice and insight into issues and a personality that may be different from one’s own experiences.
