Descriptive. There are fifteen beautifully written short stories in a collection by Mark Slouka titled, All That Is Left Is All That Matters. It seemed to me that it takes Slouka just a few words to describe a character in ways that will lead us to understand and recognize the completeness of the individual. Slouka also uses carefully chosen descriptive language to capture a setting or situation to bring it to life. Any reader who enjoys finely written short stories should consider reading this book.
