Transition. The fifth thrilling Orphan X novel by Gregg Hurwitz is titled,
Into the Fire. This time out, every time Nowhere Man Evan Smoak thinks he gets the job done, he ends up back in the dangerous fray or the place described in the title. Protagonist Smoak continues to develop in complexity as the series progresses, and in this novel, there seems to be a longing in him to make a transition from his current life to something else. We will have to wait for the next installment to find out what happens. In the meantime, thriller fans will enjoy reading this novel.
