Protagonist Windsor Horne Lockwood III becomes a person of interest after a recluse is found murdered in a penthouse apartment on the Upper West Side. Inside the apartment was a Vermeer stolen from the Lockwood family two decades earlier, as well as a suitcase bearing Win’s initials. There’s mystery behind the identity of the recluse, and secrets in the Lockwood family that have been kept for a very long time.
